NEW! Here's our Summer 2019 Schedule
Our Chesterfield location will be closed on Independence Day, July 4, 2019. Additionally, on July 11, 2019 our hours of operation for this location will be from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. We will be closed beginning August 1, 2019 for our Summer Vacation and will re-open September 5, 2019 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Please update your calendars.

26th Pastoral AnniversaryWe will celebrate our Pastoral Anniversary on July 14, 21, 2019. We will kick off the celebration on July 14, 2019 with Pastor Gwendolyn Young of Young Ministries, Inc., Chesterfield, VA at 4:00PM.
Continuing our celebration during our morning service at 10:00 AM, Sunday, July 21, 2019, we will closing out our celebration at 4:00 PM with guest speaker Pastor Barbara Stewart, Grace Assembly, Ft. Washington, VA.

Refreshing Spring
Our Refreshing Springs Shower Outreach ministry will host monthly free showers for the homeless every 3rd Saturday of the month at In His Presence Apostolic Ministry, 2787B South Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805. Free Transportation to our location will be provided for the homeless. The Free Pickup location is in the back parking lot of First Baptist Church, 236 W. Washington Str, Petersburg, VA. We will be picking up every 30 minutes starting at 9:30AM. The last pickup is 11:15AM.
Refreshing Springs Shower Outreach is a ministry of In His Presence Apostolic Ministry, Inc. It is the manifestation of a divine unction, born out of our human desire to assist those in need: the homeless, those living out of their own cars, the displaced, the abused, social outcasts and rejects in our community by providing access to showers.
Monetary donations as well as donations of Commercial Double-Stacker Washer/Dryer, White Washcloths and Towels, Body wash, Lotion, Shampoo, Toothbrush, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Men briefs, T-shirts, Women’s Briefs, Sports Bras, Socks, Brushes/Combs, Storage Racks, Refreshments and a 15 passenger Van.

From Soaking to Soaring, from Descending to Ascending with God.
Welcome to 2019 and welcome to new adventures. By now we are all well into the New Year and hopefully with high anticipation and expectation to see God move in unprecedented ways and to see and experience His glory like never before! As 2019 approached I asked the Lord what is it that you want me to expect? Immediately He put in my heart FREEDOM and MORE FREEDOM and said it will be the year of BIG! Sure, we declare and proclaim the Word of God that “He in whom the Son set free is free indeed”! John 8:36. However we know that we can not free ourselves but that is a work of the Lord. I see that right at this pivotal time that the Lord has us all strategically in place for this new year but we are not going to be able to accomplish these mighty and unsearchable things that we have never seen before in our own strength! Let me ask you? Has the Lord by His Spirit already revealed some BIG assignments, BIG opportunities, BIG breakthroughs and BIG promotions for you this year? How about first BIGGER and MORE hunger and thirst for His presence and for righteousness? We must cry out for more in this hour to see the glory of the Lord! Let’s look at Psalms 42:1-2 in the TPT, I long to drink of you O’God, drinking deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God. As I was soaking one day, I vividly saw a stream of water
surrounded by big rocks like in a cove and there was a waterfall so beautiful and full of many colors pouring out cool waters into the stream. Then I heard the Holy Spirit say “descension and ascension” and there was an escalator in this waterfall that went downward and upward. Descension is explained as an act of moving downward, dropping or falling, to descend means to move downward, to go lower or to throw down or fall. Ascension on the other hand means, the act of rising to more important, higher or more powerful position to promote. Do you see what the Holy Spirit is showing in this vision? As He calls us to Himself, we humble ourselves and fall down in admiration and worship. As we willingly come and respond to His call to soak, to tarry to wait in His presence we become soaked. To soak means the act to allow something or someone to become thoroughly wet or saturated by immersion in liquid. To rinse, to bath, to pickle, to steep, to submerge, to douse and to plunge are all a good picture of how we can picture ourselves as we yield and surrender to the Lord and descend and lower ourselves as we rest and meditate and quieten ourselves before Him. So metaphorically the escalator which is a set of moving stairs, like a conveyor belt that take people to different levels. It is God Most High that has all power to cause us to descend and ascend an act that does not require any effort for us, the Lord by His Spirit lifts us up and causes us to ascend to heavenly places and higher places. This in effect causes an alignment of all things to His will and for His glory. Let us all declare and call into alignment on our children, our finances, businesses, health, marriages and relationships. What happens next in the Waterfall is even more exciting because as He causes us to ascend and promote,He will then pour us right back out as a drink offering to all those that are hungry and thirsty. There are new doors that have bust wide open and the Lord has already gone before us to prepare the way. However, there is preparation on our part and that is remaining consecrated and sanctified to the Lord so that we will obey and remain strong for what is ahead. There is an emergence of His sons and daughters like never before and this year we will soar in Heavenly places as we soak in His presence. Like a mother eagle that tears and stirs up the nest to remove any comfort and pushes her eaglets to the edge so the Lord has pushed us so that we will fly. His word instructs in Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. As we spread our wings and mount up as eagles ready to announce FREEDOM and GRACE to the captives because the Spirit of the Lord is upon us. To soar means to hover in the air at a great height; glide. To fly without engine power and without loss of attitude. It is also the act of rising up or moving up upward into the air. Glide on the other hand means to move with a continuous smooth motion with very little flapping of the wings. Do you see the picture of what the Lord is saying here? As we rest in Him and wait on Him, “He” will do the work meaning He will cause us to rise, to increase and to get BIGGER because He is BIGGER! BIGGER than anything that could try to come against us! So, as we anticipate the great and mighty unsearchable things in 2019 rather than attempting to do anything in our own strength rest, listen, wait and lie down before the Lord. It is going to be an amazing year, but it is not by power nor by might but by my spirit says the Lord!
